Coach Carter is based on a true story of the controversial high school basketball coach; Coach Ken Carter (Samuel L. Jackson). Coach Carter accepts the job as a basketball coach for his old high school Richmond. Carter immediately hand out written contracts that include stipulations for respectful behavior, a dress code and good grades, which all players have to sign in order to play.
